Feed Marketing Development Specialist

About the role

The Feed Marketing Development Specialist (Shrimp) is responsible for providing technical support, training, and guidance to customers and field teams on all aspects of Vannamei shrimp culture. This includes assisting in farm management, disease prevention, water quality monitoring, feed management, and production optimization. The role ensures that farming operations follow best aquaculture practices and achieve maximum productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to assigned farms to assess shrimp growth, survival rate, and pond performance
• Provide site-specific recommendations on pond preparation, stocking, water exchange, and harvest timing
• Assist farmers in identifying root causes of performance issues and implementing corrective actions
• Develop and implement feed programs suited to shrimp stages and pond conditions
• Monitor feed consumption, feeding behavior, and adjust rations to maintain FCR targets
• Conduct routine monitoring of key water quality parameters
• Implement biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks
• Conduct feed or product performance trials in collaboration with R&D
• Conduct seminars and on-site training for farmers and internal staff
• Submit timely and complete farm visit and performance reports
