About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join our team based at our Enfield animal feed mill. You will be working with a small team to ensure smooth running of animal feed production and help us maintain a high standard of quality.

This role has a base hourly rate range of $38.69-$43.67  (inclusive of loading & allowances) plus superannuation.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Monitor production and batching process through mill control systems

• Initiate Feedsafe declarations

• Monitor whole grain and liquid additions

• Ensure all raw materials received meet specified standards

• Ensure plant is running correctly and is in safe working order

About you

As a successful candidate, you will have the following:

• Advanced Feed Milling qualification, Food Processing diploma, Cereal Milling course or equivalent (desirable)
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Stockfeed Milling
• Hands on approach to troubleshooting minor machine issues
• Knowledge of ISO/HACCP and Feedsafe requirements
• Communicate and work effectively with other members as a team
• Knowledge of and commitment to health and safety work practices
