Feeder Driver-Civil Construction

Are you an experienced Feeder Driver looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Feeder Driver to join our client's paving team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, operates well in a team environment, and is comfortable working away from home for extended periods.

About the Role

As a Feeder Driver, you will play an important role in supporting paving operations and ensuring the team and equipment are ready to perform efficiently each day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Loading liquids and emulsion into feeder trucks from the stockpile.
• Hooking up to the micro paver while paving operations are underway.
• Coordinating daily with the Loadmaster and Foreman regarding paving plans.
• Assisting with machine end-of-shift tasks, including cleaning the box and hand tools.
• Preparing trucks for the next shift, including fuel, liquids and aggregates.
• Maintaining good housekeeping around the stockpile and feeder trucks.
• Supporting ground staff and labourers as required.
• Providing training and guidance to new Feeder Drivers when required.
• Following all site health and safety requirements and maintaining a high standard of work.

What We're Looking For:

• Has previous Feeder Driver, paving or civil construction experience.
• Class 5 License and WTR required
• Is reliable, physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with others.
• Takes pride in keeping equipment, trucks and work areas clean and organised.
• Is safety-conscious and follows instructions and procedures.
• Can work independently and take initiative when required.
• Is willing and able to stay away from home for extended periods.
• Is flexible with working hours, as weekend work may be required.
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to assist the wider team when needed.
