Feedyard Operations Manager

Wilroads Feedyard is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily feedyard operations. The successful candidate will provide leadership in cattle care, feed operations, employee management, equipment maintenance, safety, and overall operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily feedyard operations
• Supervise and develop a bilingual workforce
• Oversee cattle health, receiving, processing, and shipping
• Manage feed mill, feed delivery, and facility maintenance
• Promote a strong culture of safety, animal welfare, and accountability
• Monitor operational performance and key production metrics

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial feedyard experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of cattle health, nutrition, feedyard operations, and equipment maintenance
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Experience with AccuTrac or similar feedyard software is a plus
