FEM Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) Interior

What to expect:

For our team, we are looking for dedicated support in the field of interior simulation and calculation. In this role, you can expect the following tasks:

• Independent setup of load case-specific calculation models using ANSA, LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH, Animator, and custom software tools
• Independent execution of crash analyses and interpretation of results
• Performing and validating FEM calculations for interior components such as cockpit and seats
• Documentation and presentation of results, as well as coordination with development partners (customers, project management, etc.)
• Development of optimization proposals in collaboration with your team colleagues
• Support of assemblies throughout the entire development process from concept phase to series production
• Team-oriented collaboration with colleagues and other departments (design, testing, etc.)

What you bring along:

• Completed technical or scientific degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field
• Solid experience in simulation and development in the area of cockpit or seating systems
• Extensive knowledge of FE methods and common tools, especially ANSA and LS-DYNA
• Independent and structured way of working, strong analytical skills, reliability, and assertiveness
• High level of commitment, communication skills, and service-oriented mindset
• Business fluent English skills
