Female Complex Care Disability Support Worker

Supporting Abilities For Everyone (S.A.F.E) is seeking an experienced female disability support worker for a female participant in Endeavour Hills, VIC.

About Participant:

• 32 year old female participant with Down Syndrome
• Significant OCD-related support needs
• Female support workers only
• Prolonged personal care/shower routine
• Immediate start, shadow shift provided

About You:

• Female with fluent Australian accent (family request)
• Experienced with complex needs
• Extremely patient and calm (participant spends 4 hours in the shower)
• Respectful (participant remains unclothed at home)
• Phones are not to be used and left inside a phone basket for the duration of shift, to ensure absolute privacy in the home. Family has advised failure to do so will terminate ongoing shifts.

Shifts Available:

• Daily 2:00pm - 8:00pm, sometimes 10:00pm

NDIS Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
• Valid Australian Driver’s License.
• A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
• The right to work in Australia.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $41.00 – $86.00 per hour
