Female Day Support Worker

We are looking for a caring, compassionate and reliable individuals with good communication and teamwork skills to join us in our Gattonside services working day shifts. No sleeps or waking nights are required for this role.

The successful candidate will have a positive, patient and person-centred approach with great communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support in line with individual support plans
• Promote independence, dignity and respect at all times
• Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
• Assist individuals to access the community and social activities
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Please note, you will be subject to a PVG disclosure check and also be required to work towards your SVQ Level 2 in Social care as this is a SSSC requirement.
