Female Disability Support Worker – Casual

Location: Riverstone, NSW

Pay Rate: $38 per hour (inclusive of casual loading, excluding superannuation)

Available shift hours: A variety of shifts are available, including:

• Morning shifts are 11:30am–1:30pm or 12pm–2pm, evening shifts are 6pm–8pm.
• Available on Weekdays and Weekends.

We are seeking a few female Disability Support Workers in the Riverstone area who can support participants with daily living activities including personal hygiene cares, mobility and transfers while promoting independence and well-being.

No Drivers licence is required; training will be provided. We welcome applicants who are reliable, compassionate, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to participants
• Assist with all daily living activities
• Support the participant with community access activities (outings, social engagement, appointments, etc.)
• Encourage independence, social interaction, and engagement
• Maintain clear communication and shift notes

Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Must have experience using mechanical lifters and slide sheets for patient transfers
• Preferred experience working with people with spinal cord injuries, including bowel care and catheter care
• Reliable and positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly personality
