About the role

JGQ GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking a talented Female Engineer (EE/ME) to join our dynamic engineering team in Newport City, Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in either electrical engineering or mechanical engineering to drive innovation and excellence across our projects. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyse electrical or mechanical systems and components in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate engineering solutions and recommend optimal approaches
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technicians, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution
• Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to validate engineering designs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems and equipment
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and quality benchmarks
• Maintain accurate project documentation and maintain compliance with relevant engineering codes and regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of innovative engineering solutions

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable
• Proven experience in electrical or mechanical engineering design, analysis, or project execution
• Strong proficiency with engineering software tools and CAD programmes such as AutoCAD, CATIA, MATLAB, or similar applications
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, safety standards, and relevant technical codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges and develop practical solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical information clearly
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in technical work
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to support professional development and stay current with industry advancements and best practices
