Job description

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Workers in a supported living/residential setting in Tottenham, London.

You do NOT need previous experience in health or social care to apply.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and industries, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

You will support adults with mental health needs, drug and alcohol addiction, and offending/forensic histories to live safely and as independently as possible in a structured environment.
Night shifts are mandatory for this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily living tasks such as budgeting, cooking, shopping, and life skills
• Prepare and cook evening meals for residents
• Carry out cleaning of residents’ rooms and maintain cleanliness of the whole house (kitchen, bathrooms, communal areas)
• Provide some personal care respectfully and in line with care plans
• Offer emotional support and promote wellbeing
• Support with medication routines as outlined in care plans
• Support residents to attend appointments and engage with treatment programmes
• Encourage participation in social, educational, and employment activities
• Carry out mandatory night shift duties, including welfare checks and safety monitoring
• Maintain accurate daily records and reports
• Support tenancy responsibilities and report maintenance issues
• Work in line with safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality, and CQC standards
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team

Qualifications

Essential:

• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
• Willingness to learn and undertake training
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient, and non-judgmental attitude

Desirable (but not required):

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Previous experience in care, support work, or related fields
• No previous care experience required – applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
