Female Support Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to provide exceptional care and assistance to women in need of support in various settings, especially around the W10 area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional well-being. The days and hours are currently flexible and will be arranged around the individuals needs and the successful candidates availability. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for clients.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to individual needs
• Manage behavior and implement care plans for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safety during transportation
• Monitor health status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care
• Engage in activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall quality of life

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments preferred
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, and senior care practices
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for transportation duties
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately
• Compassionate attitude combined with patience, reliability, and professionalism
