Fence Installation Crew Leader

As a pivotal member of our construction management team, you will coordinate daily operations, manage team performance, and uphold safety regulations to deliver exceptional results on every project.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of fence installers, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to ensure accurate implementation of fence designs
• Conduct site inspections to verify safety compliance and quality control throughout installation phases
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment, including tools like ohmmeters and construction safety gear
• Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6
• Oversee compliance with federal and local construction safety regulations (OSHA), ensuring all team members operate within legal standards

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising construction crews in commercial or heavy civil projects with a strong background in fence installation
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings review
• Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid or equivalent tools
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project management principles, and contract management processes
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and schematics accurately for precise installation work
• Demonstrated leadership skills managing teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal construction safety requirements for site safety management
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Valid experience with construction site safety practices and managing construction schedules effectively
