Fence Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of fences, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and construction materials will be vital in completing fence construction projects efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine project specifications and layout.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install fences using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed.
• Handle construction materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting of fencing components and building materials.
• Ensure all fence installation projects comply with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards.
• Perform site preparation tasks such as setting posts, leveling structures, and preparing groundwork for fence installation.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in carpentry, frame carpentry, or general construction work with a focus on fence installation or outdoor projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related machinery.
• Physical stamina for outdoor work including heavy lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to power tool use, heavy lifting, welding, and construction site operations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interpret client needs into actionable tasks.
• Experience handling building materials such as wood, metal fencing components, concrete finishing for posts or foundations.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings related to hardscape or concrete finishing is a plus.
• Construction site experience including material handling and adherence to safety standards is essential.
