Fence Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems, ensuring they are built to specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and construction materials will be essential to delivering durable, attractive fences that meet our clients’ needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects, from residential properties to commercial sites, contributing to the beautification and security of our communities.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine fence layout and specifications
• Measure, mark, and prepare sites for fence installation with precision and attention to detail
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery safely and effectively during installation processes
• Construct fence frames using carpentry skills such as framing, masonry, and concrete finishing when necessary
• Handle building materials including wood, metal, concrete posts, and fencing panels with proper safety protocols
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for fence assembly and installation on outdoor sites
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and construction site regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while managing multiple fencing projects simultaneously
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating project timelines and addressing client questions professionally

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry, frame carpentry, or general construction work with a focus on building material installation
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret construction plans accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery used in fence installation
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to power tool safety, heavy lifting, outdoor work environments, and construction site safety measures
• Experience working on fencing construction projects or similar outdoor structures such as landscape hardscape or masonry is preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in interpreting technical drawings and executing precise installations
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing quality customer service

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
