Fence Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter / Fence & Construction Technician with hands-on experience in carpentry, fence installation, and general construction. This role involves building, repairing, and installing a variety of wood,vinyl and metal structures, assisting with residential and commercial construction projects, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry work, including framing, repairs, finishing, and installation
• Install and repair various types of fencing, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and aluminum
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Assist with site preparation, demolition, and general construction labor
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Set posts, pour concrete, and ensure fence alignment and structural stability
• Complete projects according to deadlines and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and customers as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, fencing, and general construction
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to use measuring tools and read layouts accurately
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with residential and commercial fencing projects
• Familiarity with concrete work, grading, or light excavation
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating augers, or other jobsite equipment
• Has Crew Lead experience.

Work Environment

• Outdoor and indoor construction environments
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Physically demanding work involving lifting, carrying, climbing, and repetitive movement
