Fence Installer/ Groundworker

Due to growth and development of projects Electrafence have the opportunity to expand their fence installation team allowing an opportunity for someone new to the installation of fencing to join our organisation. The role provides an opportunity for the right person to train and attain qualification in the fencing and construction industry installing of security fencing and gates including all civils/ground works which are associated with this process.

We are looking for someone who is committed to working as a member of a team working around the UK originating daily from the Winsford Site in Cheshire or leaving Winsford on a Monday traveling to site and returning on a Friday staying away in provided accommodation.

We offer a competitive combined rate of pay and allowances with a suitable training package for all successful applicants which maintains any current appropriate accreditations and enables the individual to obtain new accreditations and skills to perform their required roles out on site.

The role is a permanent fulltime role of 40 hours per week with overtime required on a site-by-site basis, with the statuary 4 weeks annual holidays plus bank holidays.

This is an opportunity for someone who has some experience working outdoors and is either looking to take on a permanent role working in the construction industry.

• Holding a current CITB/CSCS card or equivalent allowing access to a construction site would be an advantage.
• Having the ability and accreditations associated to plant items on site such as dumpers and excavators would be an advantage.
• You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to work within a team environment and to work to a deadline.
• You must have a valid full driving licence
• You must be prepared to work away from home Monday – Friday when required.
• You must be able to get to the Winsford office daily for early morning starts due to the locations of many of the work sites.
• You must be comfortable working outside throughout the year in a variety of weather conditions.
