Duties

• Measure and interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately install fences according to specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction materials safely and effectively
• Prepare work sites by handling building materials, setting posts, and ensuring proper foundation for fence installation
• Assemble fencing components with precision, including framing, masonry, and hardscape elements when necessary
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as panels, posts, concrete mixes, and landscape features to ensure smooth workflow
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the project

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or fence installation is highly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry techniques
• Physical stamina for outdoor work including heavy lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction site operations and power tool use
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical specifications for fence construction projects
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving on-site
