About the Role:

Assist bakers and front of house staff with food preparation, food handling, stock and ensure the kitchen area is clean and tidy.

Responsibilities:

• Wash up of all equipment in the kitchen
• Handle, sort, store and distribute food items
• Basic food preparation under supervision
• Adhering to the Food Control Plan
• Adhering to Health and Safety polices and standards

Requirements:

• Must be available to work a range of different shifts (morning, afternoon & evening) on a rotating roster
• Work full time hours 40-45 hours a week, (contract is minimum 30 hours per week)
• Thrive in a physical and fast paced environment
• Friendly and a can do attitude
• Be physically fit as this role involves being on your feet all day and lifting and handling food items in large quantities
