Concept Fertility Clinic is a leading independent fertility clinic based in Wandsworth, South West London. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care through a personalised, compassionate approach and innovative fertility treatments. Scanning appointments are usually for 30 minutes to allow this. Our services include IVF, IUI, fertility preservation, donor programmes, and specialist reproductive health services.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fertility Sonographer to join our friendly multidisciplinary team.

The Role

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for performing fertility ultrasound scans as part of patients' diagnostic and treatment journeys. In addition, the role will include supporting the nursing team with general fertility nursing/midwife duties ensuring patients receive seamless, high-quality care throughout their treatment. Ideally, you will already be able to perform Hycosy, Aquascan and IUIs, although training will be provided if you cannot, and for general quality reasons. Concept Fertility, under Mr Kamal Ojha, is a registered ultrasound training centre.

Key Responsibilities

Sonography Duties

• Perform transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound scans for fertility investigations and treatment monitoring.
• Conduct follicular tracking, endometrial assessments and 3D baseline scans.
• Accurately document and report scan findings.
• Work closely with fertility consultants and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support treatment planning.
• Ensure a high standard of patient care and communication throughout.

Fertility Nursing/Midwifery Support

• Provide patient education and support throughout fertility treatment cycles.
• Support medication teaching and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with administrative and clinical nursing/midwifery duties as required.
• Assist with patient consultations and treatment coordination.

Essential Requirements

• Registered healthcare professional (NMC).
• Experience performing transvaginal ultrasound scans independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience supporting IVF, IUI, and fertility preservation treatment cycles.
• Previous experience within a fertility clinic or reproductive medicine setting.
• Knowledge of HFEA regulations and fertility clinic processes.
• Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or equivalent recognised sonography qualification.
• Ability to perform HyCoSys, Aquascans and IUIs.

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
