Fertilizer Packaging Associate

Job Summary
Nature's Landscape Supply is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fertilizer Packaging Associate to support the accurate packaging, labeling, organization, and handling of fertilizer products and landscape supplies. The ideal candidate will work efficiently while maintaining product quality, packaging accuracy, workplace safety, and an organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Package fertilizer products according to established company procedures.
• Measure, weigh, fill, seal, and label fertilizer products accurately.
• Verify product names, quantities, labels, packaging materials, and order information.
• Inspect packaged products for proper sealing, labeling, and overall condition.
• Prepare packaged fertilizer orders for storage, shipment, or customer pickup.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient packaging and warehouse work areas.
• Operate basic packaging equipment and tools safely as trained.
• Restock bags, containers, labels, and other packaging materials as needed.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing fertilizer and packaging supplies.
• Follow proper product rotation and storage procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials while following safe handling practices.
• Monitor packaging supplies and report shortages or damaged materials to management.
• Identify and report packaging errors, damaged products, spills, or equipment concerns.
• Maintain accurate packaging and inventory records when required.
• Follow established procedures for product handling, spill prevention, and workplace safety.
• Assist with routine warehouse cleanup, opening, closing, and general operational duties.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, packaging, landscaping supply, agricultural, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately measure, package, label, and organize products.
• Strong attention to detail and product accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move bags, containers, and other materials.
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse and inventory procedures preferred.
• Willingness to learn proper fertilizer handling, packaging, and storage procedures.
