FF&E Designer

Steven J. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the FF&E design process for various projects, from concept development to final installation.
• Develop and present FF&E design concepts, mood boards, and material selections to clients.
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, interior designers, and architects to integrate FF&E solutions into overall design schemes.
• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing and quality for FF&E items.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed FF&E specifications, schedules, and installation plans.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise the installation of FF&E items on-site.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior FF&E designers and support staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Good command of English.
• Must have experience managing the FF&E design process from concept to final installation across multiple projects.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and suppliers to obtain quality products at the best prices.
• Proven experience in developing and presenting FF&E design concepts to clients.
• Experience managing procurement, scheduling, and budgets to ensure the smooth execution of FF&E projects.
• Must have experience coordinating and supervising the installation of FF&E items on-site.
