A Fiber Optic Splicer at Fiberhome Philippines installs, terminates, and splices single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables for telecommunication networks. [1]Job Responsibilities

• Cable Installation & Splicing: Handle aerial, underground, and duct fiber installations. Perform mechanical and fusion splicing using specialized tools. [1, 2]
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Use an Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), power meters, and visual fault locators to test signal integrity and fix line cuts. [1, 2, 3]
• Maintenance & Repair: Inspect existing lines, handle ODF (Optical Distribution Frame) installations, and restore interrupted network services. [1, 2]
• Documentation: Record splice loss values, track cable routes, and update management reports.

Qualifications

• Experience: Background in telecom field operations or fiber optic splicing/termination.
• Skills: Knowledge of fiber color coding, fusion splicers, and testing instruments.
• License: Professional Driver's License is frequently required for field deployments.
• Work Style: Willingness to conduct hands-on field work and travel to various sites.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
