Fiber Optics Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Handle fiber optic infrastructure installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and troubleshoot active and passive networking devices.
• Perform cable and network maintenance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support for IT/Telecom projects.
• Identify and resolve hardware, network, and communication issues.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and concerned departments.
• Maintain technical reports, documentation, and service records.
• Ensure proper network performance and timely issue resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in E&C, E&TC, Electrical, Computer, or IT.
• 3+ years of experience in Telecom/IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Fiber Optics and Networking.
• Hands-on experience in cable/network maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• First Class from a reputed Institute/University preferred.
• Male candidates preferred.
