Chester Composites Ltd is a growing GRP manufacturing company based in Sealand, Chester. We specialise in manufacturing modular buildings, glamping pods and a wide range of GRP products, supplying customers throughout the UK and beyond.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fibreglass Laminator to join our team in Sealand, Chester.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will be involved in the manufacture of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) components and products. The role is hands-on and varied, offering the opportunity to develop new skills and progress within the company.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable using power tools, have a good eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Duties will include cutting fibreglass components, applying gel coat and preparing moulds. Full training will be provided in working with resin and gel coat, with the opportunity to learn how to operate a chopper gun as your skills develop.

Previous experience in fibreglass or GRP manufacturing would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing GRP products to the required quality standards.
• Cutting and finishing fibreglass components.
• Applying gel coat and preparing moulds.
• Using power tools and manufacturing equipment safely.
• Unloading deliveries and handling materials.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

• A forklift licence would be preferred but is not essential.
