Field Account Officer

About the role

The Field Account Officer is responsible for acquiring and managing loan accounts through field marketing, clients assessment, account monitoring and payment follow-p. The position requires regular fieldwork to meet prospective and exiting borrowers, verify client information, assist in processing loan applications, monitor repayment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts.

Key responsibilities

Source and develop qualified borrowers within the assigned area

Conduct regular field visits to client locations to assess loan applications, verify information and evaluate collateral

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention

Conduct field verification and basic credit investigation

Follow up upcoming and overdue payments

Gather comprehensive financial and personal information from clients to support the loan approval process

Submit daily field activity and account monitoring reports

Meet assigned marketing, loan acquisition, account monitoring and collection

Follow up with clients regarding account status, payment schedules and any outstanding matters

Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, transactions and field visit activities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree preferred, relevant lending or field experience may be considered

Proven experience in field account management, client services or similar client-facing roles within the financial services industry

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple client accounts and field schedules effectively

Sound understanding of lending principles, credit assessment and financial analysis

Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative while maintaining accountability for assigned accounts

Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting

Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules when necessary

Goal Oriented and willing to work with performance targets

With its own motorcycle and valid Drivers License
