Responsibilities
As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting product demonstrations and technical presentations at customer sites
- Managing technical exchanges between customers, sales teams and R&D engineers
- Assisting customers during product integration and deployment phases
- Supporting field testing, validation activities and operational trials
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing first-level technical expertise
- Collecting customer feedback and ensuring efficient communication with internal development teams
- Contributing to continuous product improvement through field experience and customer insights
- Supporting pre-sales activities and helping customers understand system capabilities
Required skills
- Master's degree or Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or a related field
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles, Field Application Engineering, Technical Support or Systems Engineering
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Broad technical background allowing efficient discussions with R&D teams
- Understanding of wireless communication systems, embedded electronics or telecom technologies
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Python knowledge (appreciated)
- German language skills (a plus but not a requirement)
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-growing startup environment
Salary
Target salary range: €65,000 to €85,000 gross annual salary fixed
