Field Application Engineer (Bangpoo)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer, Industrial Automation to provide technical support to customers, distributors, machine builders, and system integrators. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to develop automation solutions, support product applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver customer training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for industrial automation products
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable automation solutions
• Support product selection, programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Develop applications using PLC, HMI, servo, motion control, drives, and SCADA systems
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical training for customers, distributors, and system integrators
• Support new product introductions and application development
• Collect customer feedback and communicate technical requirements to Product Management and R&D
• Prepare application notes, setup guides, programming examples, and training materials

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Practical knowledge of PLC and HMI, with experience in servo, drives, motion control, or SCADA considered an advantage
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or CANopen.
• Strong troubleshooting, presentation, and customer communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
