Field Application Engineer

Pegatron SVR is hiring a Field Application Engineer (FAE)!

We are seeking a customerfacing engineer to serve as the technical liaison between enterprise clients, sales, and internal engineering teams for our data center ODM server and rack solutions. This role coordinates across PM, HW/SW, and architecture teams from initial design through deployment, while optimizing RMA processes to improve turnaround

time (TAT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise customers, translating complex requirements into internal engineering and manufacturing plans.
• Align crossfunctional teams (hardware, thermal, BIOS/BMC) to monitor project status and accelerate issue resolution.
• Diagnose systemlevel compute, storage, and network issues (x86/ARM), performing handson
• rootcause analysis during deployment phases.
• Assist the HQ RMA management team in organizing the RMA process and providing status updates to all customers.
• Assist sales teams with technical presentations, solution proposals, and PoC demonstrations.
• Provide onsite support at customer facilities; requires domestic and international travel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in hardware, systems, or field service engineering, preferably in an OEM/ODM environment.
• Solid understanding of server hardware, rack integration, data center infrastructure, ipmitool, Redfish API, and Linux/Windows environments.
• Experience with lifecycle spare parts planning (NPI to EOL) and analyzing TAT/costs using Excel, BI, or SAP.
• Strong customerfacing communication, a proactive ownership mindset, and crossfunctional coordination skills.
