Field Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Technical Support & Enablement – Understand customer needs and challenges, recommend suitable Vector solutions, and support successful adoption through technical support, training, customization, and coaching
• Solution Demonstration – Present, demonstrate, and evaluate Vector’s software code testing solutions, including VectorCAST, PC-lint Plus, and Squore, based on customer needs
• Problem Solving – Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions or workarounds that address customer requirements and align with product capabilities
• Technical Communication – Explain technical concepts and testing methodologies to both technical and non-technical audiences, helping customers make informed decisions
• Support technical seminars, events, and other customer-facing activities through presentations, demonstrations, and technical content
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and global teams to ensure successful solution deployment and high customer satisfaction

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development, testing, or verification
• Familiarity with embedded development tools, compilers, and build environments
• Good understanding of software development and build processes
• Strong knowledge of C and C++
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges
• Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies
• Open, positive and customer-focused mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, also Business-level English for technical discussions and documentation
• Knowledge of Python, scripting languages, or Linux is a plus
