Field Application Engineer – Semiconductor Gas & Fluid Systems

We’re partnering with a global industrial technology company, a long-established name in the semiconductor supply chain. They’re adding a Field Engineer in Singapore to be the technical lead for front-end OEM and fab customers. You’ll be on-site and hands-on, and you’ll influence how customers design their next-generation systems.

What you’ll own

• Troubleshoot, run root cause analysis and drive CAPA on complex tool, gas delivery and fluid system issues that affect uptime, yield and reliability.
• Support tool installation, startup and qualification inside customer facilities.
• Assess customer HP/UHP fluid and gas systems and recommend improvements in performance, safety and efficiency.
• Lead technical discussions with customer engineering teams and become their trusted advisor.
• Partner with Sales to shape solution proposals, run workshops and grow strategic accounts.
• Train customers and internal teams, and feed field insight back to global product and engineering teams.
• Support regional customers and partners when needed.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Materials or Instrumentation Engineering.
• At least 5 years in front-end semiconductor OEMs or fabs, in a field, application, process, tool or customer support engineering role.
• Solid grasp of wafer fab processes: deposition, etch, lithography and implant.
• Hands-on HP/UHP gas delivery experience. Knowledge of UHP tube weldment processes and qualification (NPI/HVM) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocol (Class 100/1000), tool architecture and sub-fab operations.
• Practical experience with leak, particle, contamination and flow failure modes.
• Clear communicator who’s comfortable presenting to customer engineering teams and working with commercial colleagues.
