Field Application Manager – Electronics Components / PCBA | Regional

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Field Application Engineers (FAEs), including resource planning and performance management.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex electronics, PCBA and component-related projects.
• Work closely with customers, sales and suppliers to understand requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Oversee the design-in process from initial requirements and prototyping through evaluation and mass production.
• Provide technical support, presentations, workshops and product training to customers and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Identify new design-in and business opportunities based on customer requirements and market trends.
• Monitor customer product roadmaps, competitor technologies and industry developments.
• Manage project priorities and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions.
• Travel locally and regionally to support customer projects when required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FAE, application engineering, design engineering or technical sales support.
• Experience in electronics, semiconductor, PCBA, connectors, modules or related industries.
• Proven experience in leading a technical team or managing FAEs.
• Strong understanding of electronics design, analog/digital circuits and electromechanical applications.
• Experience supporting design-in, prototyping, product evaluation and mass production.
