Job Opening: Field Application Scientist

We are looking for a Field Application Scientist to provide technical application support, conduct product demonstrations, and assist customers with laboratory automation and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, customer training, and technical presentations.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of laboratory automation workflows.
• Perform and support validation of liquid handling systems and laboratory automation workflows.
• Troubleshoot application-related issues and provide technical solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support customer trials, application development, and technical queries.
• Build relationships with customers across pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, CROs, genomics laboratories, and research institutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in field applications, application support, or a similar technical role.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in liquid handling and laboratory automation validation.
• Knowledge of automated laboratory workflows and liquid handling instruments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to genomics, NGS, molecular biology, or high-throughput laboratory workflows.
• Experience with automated liquid handling platforms and workflow optimisation.
