What they need
We are looking for a Field Assistant to support agricultural field activities, practical sessions, farm operations, and research activities at the university.
Role & responsibilities
- Assist faculty and students during agricultural practicals and field activities.
- Support sowing, cultivation, irrigation, weeding, harvesting, and crop maintenance.
- Assist with soil preparation, soil sampling, nursery and farm activities.
- Monitor crops for pests, diseases, and overall crop health.
- Maintain agricultural tools, equipment, and field records.
- Support agricultural research, demonstrations, and student field visits.
- Ensure proper safety and maintenance of field areas.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture or related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of agriculture, farming practices, and crop management.
- Ready to work outdoors and perform field-based activities.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Salary: As per university norms and experience.
