Field Automation Engineer

Midera Food Processing is seeking a Field Automation Engineer to support our RapidVisionPak division. This is a hands-on role for a highly technical professional who combines strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with excellent customer communication.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot automated packaging and processing equipment
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLC systems
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues
• Perform startups, commissioning, and equipment validation
• Train customer personnel and provide technical support
• Serve as the primary technical representative at customer sites

Requirements What We're Looking For

• Allen-Bradley PLC experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Critical thinker who enjoys solving problems independently
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Willingness to travel 50-60%, including frequent weekend travel
