Field Coordinator (Pre-cast Concrete/Steel Structure work)

Position : Field Coordinator (Pre-cast Concrete/Steel Structure work)

Role & Responsibility

• Hands-on Field Leadership: Proactively drive on-site operations by coordinating with the GC and subcontractors, focusing on leading the installation sequence and quality control for PC and RC. Take ownership of resolving immediate field issues while ensuring all critical updates and resolutions are communicated to management in real-time.

• Material Logistics Management: Monitor and manage the delivery (Inbound) and removal (Outbound) of PC members and construction materials to ensure they match the project schedule and site layout.

• Field Verification: Compare on-site progress with blueprints and shop drawings to ensure that the PC installation is performed according to specifications and tolerances.

• Schedule & Sequence Control: Verify that the installation sequence of PC elements is followed correctly to prevent structural issues and delays.

• Safety & Quality Control: Identify and coordinate any non-compliance with OSHA standards and project quality specifications immediately to safety team on-site.

• Field Reporting: Provide daily/weekly progress reports on material status and installation milestones to the project manager.

• Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact on-site to resolve immediate technical issues between the designer and the GC regarding PC installation.

Qualification

• Experience: 3+ years of field experience in commercial architectural/construction profession, with a strong emphasis on PC (Pre-cast Concrete) and Steel structure construction.

• Technical Skill: Ability to read and interpret complex structural shop drawings and installation sequences.

• Site Management: Proven experience in managing material logistics (loading/unloading/staging) on busy construction sites.

• Safety: Strong understanding of OSHA standards and site emergency response plans.

Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with field crews and subcontractors.

• Software: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting.

Availability: Ability to work Overtime (O/T), Overnight, or Holidays as required by the construction schedule.

• Bilingual (English and Spanish or Korean) speaking is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor, commercial, or industrial building construction.

• Knowledge of interior finishing works following the PC structure
