  • Troubleshoot hardware issues, transport connectivity problems, fiber faults, and active alarms.
  • Conduct call testing, including E911 test calls when required, and support VSWR, alarm, and KPI verification as applicable.
  • Coordinate with remote Network Operations Center (NOC), RF, and integration teams to resolve site issues.
  • Follow approved Ericsson and Verizon installation procedures, MOPs, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Recover retired equipment and accurately record equipment serial numbers.
  • Capture before-and-after site photographs and prepare complete site documentation and closeout packages.
  • Submit site completion reports accurately and within project timelines.
  • Support material pickup and drop-off at designated Ericsson warehouses when required.
  • Maintain communication with project managers and integration teams regarding site readiness, progress, and outstanding issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in wireless telecommunications field operations, preferably involving Ericsson baseband swaps.
  • Hands-on Ericsson and Verizon equipment experience within the last 12 months is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience replacing Ericsson baseband units and supporting network modernization projects.

  • Familiarity with Ericsson G2/G3-to-G4 modernization, zero-touch integration, and manual SIF file loading.
  • Strong understanding of fiber connectivity, SFPs, DC power systems, grounding, cable management, and site installation practices.
  • Experience performing pre- and post-integration checks, alarm troubleshooting, and site validation.
  • Familiarity with approved MOPs, equipment recovery procedures, serial number tracking, and site closeout documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote NOC, RF, and integration teams.

Mandatory Certifications

Candidates must hold current certifications in all three of the following:
