Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our commercial construction team in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on commercial construction experience who understands the project documentation and submittal process and is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Field Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, architects, and other project team members to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day project coordination
• Manage and track submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field personnel
• Assist with material procurement and tracking
• Maintain project records and documentation
• Help identify and resolve field and project issues
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to the project team
• Assist with project schedules, quality control, and overall project coordination
• Support project closeout activities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction preferred
• Previous experience as a Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
• Strong understanding of the construction submittal and RFI process
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with both field and office teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction project management software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but relevant construction experience will be considered

Pay: $75,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
