Field Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects by providing technical expertise and ensuring that construction management principles are applied effectively on-site. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with the superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project manager, superintendent, and administrative assistant on project activities.
• Utilize software tools to include Procore, Fast Track, and Sage.
• Assist in the construction estimating process by providing accurate measurements and material requirements.
• Participate in site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Skills

• Basic Estimating
• Ability to read plans and perform takeoffs
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Procore
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail in project management tasks.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and subcontractors
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
