Field Engineer (Contract)

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on field maintenance and hardware support for servers, storage systems, tape libraries, workstations, telecom, cabling, and data center facilities across client sites and data centers.
• Provide operational support according to client requirements and senior engineer guidance.
• Assist with equipment configuration management and troubleshoot hardware/infrastructure incidents.
• Support core IT infrastructure activities, including cable patching, Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, and system backup & recovery operations.
• Provide occasional on-site support during non-office hours as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant hands-on IT support or data center operations experience.
• Proactive learner eager to gain hands-on exposure to multi-data center, enterprise-grade strategic systems; strong team player.
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Cantonese and English.
