Field Installation Technician

Bandera Networks is hiring Installation Technicians to install smart devices in apartment communities and commercial properties: thermostats, door locks, leak sensors, and more. If you’ve worked in construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, maintenance, handyman work, or any trade, you already have the skills to succeed here. This is an entry-level role with training available to move up to Level 2 and beyond.

About the travel

• About 80% travel, in Texas and out of state
• You drive your personal vehicle to job sites
• You’re paid for drive time
• Gas reimbursement provided
• $60/day per diem on travel days
• Hotel/lodging provided

What you’ll do

• Install smart devices to Bandera Networks’ quality and speed standards
• Work with lead techs and supervisors on each project
• Interact professionally with clients, tenants, and property managers
• Keep a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures
• Use company apps to track work and communicate with the team
• Show up on time and stick to the schedule

What we’re looking for

• Experience with hand and power tools (construction or trades background is a big plus)
• Comfortable with physical work in most weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable, on time, and a team player
• Calm under pressure and good with customers
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Must have your own tools within your first 90 days

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
