Data Center Field Installer

Remote, US-based; must live near a major airport (airline hub preferred)

Full-time, salaried, overtime eligible | Travel: Up to 100%

About Us:

• We build and install secondary infrastructure for mission-critical data centers, including interior fit-outs, steel cages, and containment systems. Customers trust us to deliver on schedule, communicate clearly, and avoid surprises. Join a traveling install crew working at customer sites nationwide, often inside live, operating data centers.

What You’ll Do

• Install overhead support structures (strut, threaded rod, unistrut), conveyance (ladder rack, cable tray, whalebone, fiber raceway), hot/cold aisle containment, and racks, cabinets, and security cages.
• Work from drawings, measure accurately, and flag discrepancies before building.
• Help receive and check materials on site.
• Follow safety rules, including work at heights, lift operation, and live-facility requirements.
• Keep a clean, organized work area alongside running equipment.
• Report progress, photos, and issues to your Lead Installer, and represent the company professionally on site.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial installation experience.
• Hands-on experience in at least two of: structure installation, conveyance, containment, rack and cage installation. Related experience (partitions, glass/demountable walls, storefront) counts.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
• OSHA 10; aerial and scissor lift certification.
• Valid driver’s license, own trade hand tools, and willingness to travel up to 100%.

Preferred:

• Data center or mission-critical and containment experience
• Forklift/telehandler certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular work at heights, on ladders and lifts, and in confined spaces
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Extended standing on active job sites.
