Job Summary

The Field IT Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of various IT and low-voltage systems at client sites. This role involves working on projects that include audio systems, CCTV surveillance, data networks, home automation, and other integrated technology solutions. The technician ensures all installations meet company standards, project specifications, and client expectations while providing excellent on-site service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission:
• Audio and sound systems
• CCTV surveillance systems
• Data network cabling and networking equipment
• Wi-Fi systems
• Home automation and smart home devices
• Access control and intercom systems
• Video distribution and display systems
• Other IT and low-voltage systems as assigned
• Perform structured cabling, cable termination, testing, and labeling.
• Mount and install equipment such as speakers, televisions, network devices, cameras, and racks.
• Configure network devices including routers, switches, wireless access points, and IP-enabled devices.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks before project turnover.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues during installation and after-sales service.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and technical concerns.
• Prepare installation reports, service reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Provide basic user orientation and system demonstration to clients upon project completion.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site service calls when required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant work experience in IT or low-voltage system installation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
• Familiarity with CCTV, structured cabling, and related technologies.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment.
• Can read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to various project sites and work flexible hours when necessary.
• Physically fit and capable of performing installation work.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is an advantage.

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
