  • Travel locally/regionally (up to 25%) within the assigned area of operation to maintain surveillance technologies
  • Operate specialized tools and equipment (gantry cranes, pallet jacks, hoists, forklifts) in support of sustainment activities
  • Climb ladders and mobile systems safely to perform maintenance and repairs at elevated heights

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tactical communications installation and integration, electronic systems repair, mobile surveillance system maintenance, testing, programming, troubleshooting, and design, or equivalent
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license, required to travel to repair and maintenance sites
  • Gantry Crane Operator certification (current, or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire)
  • Ability to lift objects in excess of 50 lbs., climb ladders and mobile systems, and work in outdoor/field conditions, including extreme weather
  • U.S. citizenship required; Lawful Permanent Resident status is not accepted for this contract
  • Must satisfy CBP pre-screening requirements (no felony conviction within the past 36 months; no illegal drug use within the past 12 months) and obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 4 (T4) or Tier 5 (T5) background investigation
  • Must complete DHS IT Security Awareness Training and Privacy Training, and sign the DHS Rules of Behavior, within 30 days of assignment
