Field Operation - Protege Programme

About the role

As a Field Operation professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, efficient deployment and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. You will be the backbone of field operations, managing on-site activities, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring all field work meets high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal teams and contractors to ensure smooth operational activities
• Monitor and ensure all trouble tickets (TT) are updated with complete information and closed within the required timeframe
• Monitor and maintain the Network Management System (NMS) to ensure continuous operation and prompt clearance of alarms
• Coordinate and ensure network maintenance activities are completed within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out according to the scheduled maintenance plan
• Assist in the preparation of operational reports, performance metrics, and management review documentation

About you

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of fibre-optic cable systems and telecommunications networks is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Willing and able to work on a shift basis
