Field Operations Assistant

**Job Title: Field Operations Assistant — Langley / Abbotsford**

**Pay:** $20/hour | **Hours:** Friday evenings and Saturday mornings | **Seasonal:** Now until November 14

**Who We Are:** Spark BC Youth Sports provides inclusive, non-contact flag football for kids 4–16 across Abbotsford, Langley, and surrounding communities. No tryouts, no cuts, reduced barriers for families.

**The Role:** You're the smiling face of Spark on the field. Welcome families, answer questions, guide parents and kids, and keep gameday running smoothly. When frustrations come up, you stay calm, listen, de-escalate, and represent us well. You'll also capture gameday moments, taking photos and short clips to share on our social media, so families and the community can see the energy on the field.

**Who You Are:** Outgoing, warm, and great with kids and families. Calm under pressure, dependable, and comfortable handling tough conversations. Takes initiative and spots problems before they grow.

**Assets**

• Experience supporting girls' sports or youth development programs.
• Coaching or playing sports
• Football or flag football experience.
• Social media content experience (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) or an eye for great photos.

**Requirements:** Experience with kids/families or customer service. Comfortable following our photo consent guidelines for youth participants. Clean Vulnerable Sector Search (arranged by Spark).
