Field Operations Auditor

About the role

Macvee Agri Farms is seeking a Field Operations Auditor / Loss Prevention Checker to join our security services team. This is a full-time position based in Silang, Cavite. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting on-site audits, monitoring operations, and implementing loss prevention measures across our agricultural facilities. You will play a crucial part in safeguarding our assets, ensuring operational compliance, and maintaining the security and integrity of our farming operations. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the efficiency and security of our business whilst working in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Major Roles & Responsibilities

1. SOP Compliance & Harvest Auditing

• Double-check harvest counts: Verify physical bird counts against hatchery records and harvest sheets during depopulation.
• Enforce biosecurity protocols: Confirm that catching crews and farm personnel follow sanitation SOPs before entering poultry houses.
• Monitor weighing accuracy: Audit the calibration of farm scales.

2. Logistics & Live Sales Surveillance

• Track live sales trucks: Monitor transit routes from the broiler farm to designated processing plants or authorized wholesalers.
• Investigate unauthorized stops: Inspect route deviations to ensure drivers do not sell chicken illegally on the roadside.
• Audit refrigerated vans: Cross-verify delivery manifests with the actual physical inventory loaded into cold-storage vehicles.
• Inspect seals and locks: Ensure all transit security seals on trucks and vans are intact upon departure and arrival.

3. Theft & Anomaly Detection

• Identify misappropriation: Detect and report irregularities in feed distribution, mortality logs, and harvest yields.
• Conduct unannounced spot checks: Perform random field audits at farms, weighbridges, and delivery drop-off points.
• Investigate market routing: Verify exactly where buyers and drivers sell chicken to ensure alignment with company-approved client lists.
• Report financial leaks: Document any evidence of collusion, bribery, or product skimming between farm staff and third-party buyers.

What we're looking for:

Experience & Education

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in poultry operations, logistics auditing, inventory control, safety and security inspection, or loss prevention.

Skills & Core Competencies

• Analytical thinking: Ability to spot data discrepancies between harvest logs and sales receipts.
• Attention to detail: Sharp eye for noticing broken truck seals, altered paperwork, or unusual personnel behavior.
• Communication: Ability to write clear, objective incident reports for management.
• Resilience: Comfortable working in farm environments and adapting to irregular harvest hours (night or early morning shifts).

Physical & Logistical Requirements

• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively between remote farm sites and distribution hubs.
• Flexibility: Ability to work on-call during peak harvest and distribution windows.
