CCL Global is supporting a major international energy operator delivering a large-scale development programme in Iraq. As part of the client’s nationalisation campaign, we are specifically targeting experienced Iraqi nationals for this position.

Role Overview

The Field Operations Manager will lead production and field activities, with direct accountability for safety, operational reliability, production performance and asset profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and production activities.
• Deliver safe and efficient Oil & Gas production against agreed targets.
• Oversee maintenance, inspection and operational-support functions.
• Establish production and emissions-performance objectives.
• Manage operational budgets, OPEX, CAPEX and annual plans.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory and company requirements.
• Interface with partners, authorities and senior stakeholders.
• Lead multicultural teams and develop the Iraqi workforce.
• Manage operational emergencies and crisis-response activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 15 years’ Oil & Gas operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of production operations and facility management.
• Understanding of Oil & Gas processing and field operations.
• Experience managing major operational assets and large teams.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills in high-risk environments.
• Fluent English and Arabic are mandatory; French is advantageous.
