West Networks is the largest Peplink integrator in the world. We build and support mission-critical connectivity for healthcare, broadcast, construction, maritime, retail, and manufacturing. Our customers include names you already know, and when their network goes down, their business stops. That is the standard we work to.

We are expanding our Field Operations division and adding a Tier 1 Technician based in Monroe, Louisiana, to support private 5G radio installations and regional on-site service.

What You'll Do

Most of your day will be hands-on with our private 5G radio network: installing, aligning, and servicing radios and antennas, running cable, terminating, testing, and documenting. The rest will involve regional field service for our customers.

• Install, replace, and service 5G radios, antennas, and edge equipment.
• Perform router and gateway installations, swaps, and cutovers at customer sites.
• Complete retail kit installations and next-business-day on-site deployments.
• Perform cable pulls, terminations, mounting, weatherproofing, and grounding.
• Conduct site surveys, photo documentation, and as-built recordkeeping.
• Support Tier 0 NOC monitoring by watching dashboards, triaging alerts, escalating correctly, and resolving issues remotely when possible.
• Participate in an on-call rotation covering both NOC and field dispatch.
• Keep your assigned truck, tools, and inventory organized and ready for work.

We hire for attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. You do not need a networking background. You need to show up, work safely, and do the job right.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights from boom and scissor lifts.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to represent West Networks professionally at customer sites.
• Willing to travel regionally and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Prior low-voltage, cabling, tower, cellular, or electrical work.
• General IP networking exposure.
• OSHA 30 or existing lift certifications.
• Fiber termination or splicing experience.

• $55,000 base salary.

• OSHA 30 training and certification if you don't already have it.
• Boom lift and scissor lift certification if you don't already have them.
• Paid Peplink and networking training, plus on-the-job training in 5G radio installation, field service, and NOC monitoring.

• A clear path from Tier 1 into Tier 2 support, NOC, or a lead field role.

The Reality of the Job

This is outdoor, hands-on work. Some days you'll be out in the Louisiana heat trying to get a radio lined up, and some weeks the on-call phone may go off at 2 a.m. The job isn't always easy, but you'll get paid training, certifications, and the chance to build a long-term career with room to grow.
