Field Project Manager

$78,000 to $85,000 per year + a bonus on every project you complete. Run high-end apartment renovations in Manhattan and Brooklyn from pre-construction to final punch list. MyHome Renovation Experts has been renovating New York City homes since 2001. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, and full apartment renovations in co-op and condo buildings. We handle everything for our clients: permits, design, materials, and construction, with a dedicated team behind every project.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You report to our CEO and own day-to-day execution on several active job sites. Success in 12 months looks like this: your projects finish on schedule, building managers know you by name and trust you, clients leave 5-star reviews, and warranty calls are closed fast.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Run the job site

• Visit your sites daily and update project files, schedules, and the management team
• Confirm layout, rough-in locations, and finishes against drawings and the scope of work
• Keep sites protected, clean, and safe, including the client's property
• Handle hands-on repairs and semi-skilled work in the field when needed

Coordinate people and materials

• Schedule crews, trades, specialty contractors, deliveries, and riser shutdowns
• Order, track, and inventory finish materials
• Follow building rules and keep strong relationships with building management

Manage clients and paperwork

• Attend pre-construction meetings and send clear notes to the team
• Communicate with clients, designers, purchasing, vendors, and subcontractors
• Support RFIs and change orders, and keep receivables on track by milestone
• Manage warranty calls from assessment to completion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Hands-on experience running residential renovation projects on site (as a project manager, superintendent, foreman, or lead)
• Able to read construction drawings and a scope of work
• Available to work in the field in Manhattan and Brooklyn, Monday to Friday
• Authorized to work in the US

Nice to have

• NYC co-op or condo renovation experience, including building alteration rules
• Managing more than one project at a time
• OSHA 30 or SST card, EPA RRP (lead-safe) certification
• Experience with project management software

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Base pay: $78,000 to $85,000 per year, paid weekly
• Per-project bonus: $200 to $3,000 per completed project, based on project size and client review
• 10% commission on new clients you personally refer
• Employment type: W-2 or 1099, discussed at offer
• Schedule: Monday to Friday. Hours follow each building's permitted work hours, which vary by site. Primarily in the field, with regular check-ins at our Midtown office (353 W 48th St). This is not a remote or hybrid role.
