Job Title: Field Recruiter – Retail Operations

Reports To: Head of Human Resources / Retail Operations Manager
Industry: Retail (Premium Dry Fruits, Nuts, & Organic Superfoods)
Location: Field-based (requires travel across store locations and sourcing hubs)

Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Field Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment of our rapidly growing retail organic dry fruits and nuts organization. You will be the face of our brand in the field, responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring high-energy, customer-centric talent for our retail storefronts, warehouses, and regional distribution channels.

Your primary focus will be high-volume sourcing of store managers, retail sales executives, cashier staff, warehouse packers, and quality control associates. This role requires extensive local travel to conduct on-the-spot interviews, host job fairs, and build pipelines with local communities and vocational institutes.

Key Responsibilities

• On-the-Ground Sourcing: Actively scout talent by visiting retail markets, competitor spaces, trade hubs, and community centres. Form relationships with local employment exchanges and vocational training institutes.
• Mass Recruitment & High-Volume Hiring: Coordinate and execute open-house hiring events, field walk-ins, and local job fairs to satisfy rapid store expansion plans.
• End-to-End Recruitment Lifecycle: Manage the complete cycle including candidate screening, scheduling face-to-face or on-site interviews, conducting background checks, and drafting offer letters.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with Store Managers and Area Retail Heads to map out future manpower needs and store-specific talent requirements.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the organization passionately, educating candidates about our premium product line (organic dates, exotic nuts, dried berries) and our core company values.
• Digital Sourcing Integration: Complement field operations by utilizing online job boards (like Indeed), social media groups, and localized messaging networks to tap into passive talent pools.
• Onboarding & Pipeline Retention: Support the seamless transition of new hires into their respective retail stores and track early retention metrics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of proven experience in field recruitment, high-volume hiring, or agency staffing. Experience in retail, FMCG, or food & beverage sectors is highly preferred.
• Education: Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Mobility: Must be highly flexible and willing to travel up to 70-80% within the assigned regional territory.
• Communication & Language: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in the local regional language is mandatory for field engagement.
• Understanding of Retail Dynamics: Familiarity with retail hours, store operations, and the traits needed for customer-facing excellence (e.g., hospitality, upsell mindset, active presentation).
• Tech-Savvy: Basic comfort working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), mobile communication apps, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
